Bio: 

Laurien Dowdy is a local artist who works out of her home studio in Lucketts, VA.  She received her BA in art from Mary Baldwin college in 2005. She paints mostly pets, farm animals and abstract landscapes, but her work is constantly evolving and taking her in new directions. Through her use of bright colors and bold expressions, her ultimate goal is to bring a sense of joy and happiness.
