BIO: 

Hi there - I'm Jill! Lover of animals, babies, the planet, craft beer and chocolate! I hope yoga pants never go out of style. Like, EVER. I overuse exclamation points...because, why not??!! I completed my MBA out of Baltimore, MD and currently reside in Hamilton, VA with my husband and our four amazing kiddos. I take way too many pictures of my kids, and they tell me this DAILY, but they'll thank me one day! At a young age, I always seemed to have a camera in my hand...I couldn't WAIT to see the final product once the film was developed! (That comment may have just aged me..?!) This love of making time stand still really blossomed when I became a mother while documenting EVERY milestone. Photography truly fills my soul. It brings back memories we have forgotten. It gives us something to look back on and show our children, grandchildren and their children. As a lifestyle photographer, I aim to tell a story. YOUR story. Our sessions are filled with real life. Running, playing, laughing, tickling and nuzzling...and most of all just being together as you are. I believe photos should depict genuine emotion, reminding us of how we felt in that exact moment. While I specialize in natural outdoor light sessions for families and children, I have a cozy home studio for newborn photography sessions. I'm happy to snap engagement photos, senior portraits, milestones, maternity/breastfeeding shoots, headshots, pets and product. Don't be afraid to ask for something outside the box!
