Bio:

LEAP Integrated Health is a women-owned primary care medical office in Leesburg, Virginia. The providers at LEAP, Rachel Sposito and Brooke Fields, combine traditional medicine with alternative therapies to create, what they define as, “complimentary care.”

LEAP was born from the desire to provide healthcare that focuses on preventative medicine and healing, instead of being reactive.  When providers are afforded the time to build a relationship with their patients, appropriate steps to healing and overall health can be achieved by using a comprehensive approach to care that empowers patients.

LEAP is an acronym for Listen, Educate, Advocate and Personalize.  We offer longer-than-normal provider visits and a truly personalized experience for each patient.

Our providers:

Rachel Sposito, DNP, FNP-C

K. Brooke Fields, MSPAS, PA-C

LEAP INTEGRATIVE HEALTH, LLC, OPENS PRACTICE IN DOWNTOWN LEESBURG TO PROVIDE BLEND OF CONVENTIONAL + COMPLEMENTARY MEDICAL CARE

Leesburg, VA: LEAP Integrative Health opened its doors on November 19th, 2019, in downtown Leesburg. LEAP will provide “precision health”, a concept that focuses on prevention and treatment strategies which take into account the unique individuality of each patient. Within LEAP’s medical model, patients and practitioners are partners in the health and healing process, utilizing appropriate application of both conventional and complementary modalities that embrace the whole person. LEAP is founded by three local female medical providers with over 40 years of collective healthcare experience. All three founding providers share the common values of genuine human connection, authentic relationships, good nutrition and lifestyle habits, and the promotion of physical and emotional well-being to overall health and wellness.

“‘Complementary Care’ is a term we use for strategies like supplements, nutrition, stress reduction, acupuncture, etc. By providing an integrated approach to care in which physical, mental and spiritual health is treated as equally important, and access to care that isn’t based solely on insurance markets - our impact can be substantial.” - says Rachel Sposito, DNP, FNP-C, Chief Executive Officer, and Co-Founder.

Patients and providers alike are more frequently dissatisfied with the medical model that is prevalent in western society. Despite advances in technology, research, medications and genomics, the US has not made significant improvements in patient’s lives when it comes to chronic disease and states of wellness.

“LEAP was born out of the desire to provide healthcare that focuses on preventative medicine and healing, instead of being reactive. When providers are afforded the time to build a relationship with their patients, appropriate steps to healing and overall health can be achieved by using a comprehensive approach to care that empowers patients” - said K. Brooke Fields, MSPAS, PA-C, Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder.

LEAP’s mission is to provide an opportunity for healthcare that incorporates genuine relationships, education, and empowerment through the healing arts. For more information, please visit leapih.com or call the office at 703-544-7145.
