Bio:
Lucidity Accounting provides accounting services to small businesses and non-profit organizations. It is owned and operated by Cara Walker. Cara has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration and a Master’s of Business Administration with an Accounting concentration. After receiving her MBA, she continued her education and received a Graduate Certificate in Accounting. She also took several hours additional hours of graduate level Accounting and Taxation courses. Cara is a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor. She firmly believes in getting up with the latest changes in GAAP, IFRS, Tax Law, and other regulations that impact small businesses and non-profit organizations. With over 15 years of job experience, Cara has worked with a variety of industries, including: retail, service, IT, SAAS, non-profit, and government contracting. She has experience with sole proprietors, small businesses, mid-size businesses, and non-profit organizations. She is also the Treasurer of two Loundoun County based non-profit organizations. Lucidity Accounting prefers using QuickBooks Online and Google Suite with clients. However, Cara does also have experience with QuickBooks Desktop, Unanet, AccountEdge, Microsoft Dynamics, and more.
