I’ve been going to Hair Story by Serap since 2021, back when everything had just opened and the salon was still small and getting started. Before that, I was driving all the way to Arlington just to see my colorist—but taking a chance on Serap was one of the best decisions I’ve made.
She has done everything for me over the years—balayage, single-process color, cuts—you name it. What really sets her apart is her ability to bring your vision to life, even when you’re not exactly sure what you want. There have been plenty of times I’ve walked in without a clear plan, and I fully trust her to make it look amazing every single time.
I also really appreciate the upfront pricing—it’s clear, honest, and takes away any surprises, which makes the whole experience that much better.
I’ve tried a few other salons in Ashburn that were “cheaper,” but it was never worth it. The results just didn’t compare, and I always found myself coming back. With Serap, you’re paying for true skill, consistency, and someone who genuinely knows what they’re doing. She will really take the time to explain your hair needs and listen to you, but also would never try to get to you spend unnecessary money which many other salons, especially in this area do.
