Humbly conceived in 2014, Glass Door Salon modestly took residence in a kitchen for nine months before moving into a converted garage. In 2018, GDS exploded in growth and renovated a bright, open space in the Belfort Furniture shopping center into which we moved in the blink of an eye! If you snoop around for our salon reviews, you'll find that a lot of people mention how much they like our atmosphere just as much as our expertise. At Glass Door Salon, we don't do hair because we love hair; we do hair because we love people. Hesitant to brag, we are so pleased to provide a full-service private room to serve guests with sensory concerns, religious accommodations, sensitive issues and much more. We don't like anyone being out of our reach and truly believe every single person matters. Our product line, Surface, respects personal health and the earth with it's organic sourcing, slow and careful processing, and its commitment to donate 10% profit to World Vision. If you receive services on the tenth of the month, you'll be happy to know that we've created Ten on the Tenth. On this day, 10% of our revenue is donated to International Justice Mission to fight human trafficking and modern day slavery around the world. We work as a team to provide haircuts for the homeless and allow our team members to select a monthly charities of their choice to support through the salon. Our stylists are loyal and happy! Several drive from startling distances to work here as our salon family is supportive, encouraging, highly educated and fair. At Glass Door Salon, we've broken away from typical salon structures and have chosen not to take commission on product sales. Nobody's incentivized to sell you hair care for a paycheck boost. By taking this ulterior motive out of the equation, we enjoy making sincere recommendations to solve your hair care needs and concerns. By having tiered pricing, we allow our guests to choose whether they want the most experienced stylists, the least expensive stylists, or a stylist somewhere in between.
