BIO: 

I've loved photography for as long as I can remember, and I love sharing this gift with others! I grew up in central Pennsylvania during the 80s and 90s as the youngest of four kids. We played outdoors, had to be home "by dark," rode our bikes all over town and loved snow days! As an adult living in Northern Virginia, most of that's the same! I have a wonderful husband, a teenage son and a very fluffy cat named Lexi. My style of photography is natural and observational, though I capture moments where my clients are looking at the camera, of course! I absolutely love the outdoors, having spent most of my time as a kid in PA playing outside. I love natural light outdoors whenever possible, but also offer the option studio photography. Capturing genuine expressions and moments is what I love to do. It brings me such joy! I am based in Ashburn, Virginia, but can travel outside this area, depending on the distance. For the highest quality photos, I recommend photographing newborns mid-morning (around 10:00 am), toddlers after a nap (mid-late afternoon), and families either in the early morning or about an hour before sunset. I respect the selfless service of our military, first responders, hospital workers and teachers so incredibly much. All active and retired military, first responders, hospital workers, and teachers receive a 20% discount on photo session fees (excludes prints/wall art) with valid ID.
